Battery question

Hi,

I am still waiting for the delivery of a Reo Grande and have been busy making sure I have everything that I need when it finally arrives. I have bought 4x of the following batteries

IMR 18650 - 1400mAh HIGH DRAIN 3.7v BDL Battery - ECig Wizard

well they arrived today and have noticed that there is no nipple and have a flat top. Will they work just as they are or would I need to buy some battery spacers for the top of the battery?

They will work, but I think you will get very tired of mashing the firing button down far enough to get good contact. I've never used spacers, but I know some people use them on flat tops. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm sure someone who has used these batteries will jump in.

they will work fine i have a couple flat top IMR batts and they do fine and also what mlinky said is on target

I've read some bad reviews concerning BDL batteries, but haven't used them personally. I hope they work great for you.

If you ever get the chance to buy any AW IMR 18650's, do it.

I have a couple of BDLs...14500s...and I don't use them or like them. I hope the 18650s perform better than their smaller version.

In what way are they not so good please?

They seem to have a much shorter vape time and not as much oomph than the AWs or even the UF and TF protected batteries. Really disappointed in the vape. But the 14500s are a much smaller battery so maybe their 18650s are much better. Unfortunately, I just don't have the experience to review.

Well for now it seems I am stuck with them until finances dictate otherwise. Good news though, after over two weeks wait the Grande has finally entered the UK, the bad news is its with Customs

I am hoping it will be on its travels to me on Monday.

Ugh ufo is having the same problem with his Grand. Its going to Rome, Italy. I hope it gets there soon!
