Battery question

Thanks for the info Matt I change my aw imr 18650s a when ever they drop below 3.9 my self

I'm learning something everyday. If you change your battery at 3.9 volts, and charge it back up from there, I assume that won't hurt the battery, right? Also, I assume the same is true for the smaller battery at 14500?

No, it won't hurt the battery unless your charger is weaksauce.

I get 3 hrs out of an AW IMR 18650. Thats it. I chain vape w/lr 1.5 attys. I get around 12 hrs. out of the AW 18650 2900's. When my batts get to 3.86 or 3.9 -I change them out as the vape is radically different.

That sounds about right, I am not a big of the IMR (RED) AW's in 18650 size.
I would take any of the BLACK AW's over them.
2200 mAh button top
2600 or 2900 mAh flat top.

I do use the RED ones in the Woodvil because the others are pretty darn tight in there

But in the Grand I always have a black one loaded up.

Now in the 14500 size the IMR is much more important .... but not an absolute necessity depending on your vape style.

Best thing to do is buy one of everything and see what works best for you
