+1 on what Stosh said. But if you decide instead to go with the Nicostick, no, you will need 4 "plain old rechargeable AA batteries". They are only 1.2 volts and you need at least 3 of them. (4.8 volts, as in the puck, is MUCH better)
Hmmm...so its best just to get a good 14500 battery and be done with it, I wanna stick with a single batt right now...less to screw up lol...I've been cruising through MadVapes and pretty much have my "shopping list" ready lol. I'm going to harvest my connector and atty from an old "gas-station" e-cig my sister has, she has switched to a Halo element and doesn't use the old one anymore. I should be able to get the "guts" from that. Thanks guys!
Just remember, if you use the guts from the gas station ecig, you'll be stuck with that for the connection to everything you use (unless you use adapters). I believe Madvapes sells the connectors cheap. I'd just buy a 510 connector from them to make it easy on yourself. Don't forget you need a charger for the 14500 battery(s).
I've been thinking about that actually....she said it wouldn't mate to her 510 atty....and I subscribe to KISS...keep it simple stupid lol. I think I will look for a 510 connector if what she has doesn't work right for me!
Yes, much cheaper. And I assume that includes batteries and charger, so your next one (if you stick with the 14500's) should be under $10. At that price, you can replace the mod when you change batteries (well...almost )

Lol...I've looked a bit into the atty mods...has anyone ever tried a circular coil instead of a straight wrap? By that I mean an atty coil in the shape of a circle laid horizontally instead of a straight one....seems like you'd get more airflow through that!
