Due to my primary 3.7v charger being with my brother-in-law (new vaping convert, so I couldn't take all my toys home with me), i purchased a lenmar 3.7v charger. Put in one pair of IMR-16340 CR-123a and when it indicated charged, I swapped the other pair. It eventually showed a fault.
None of the batts actually charged, and one reads 0.03v; odd as I would not expect to see anything below 2.5v.
Purchased a different charger locally (anyone want a lenmar charger: free), and 3 of them charged fine. The problem child showed a full charge almost immediately, and didn't register on the multimeter, which is what I would expect.
On a whim, I put it back in the charger (which a protective bag as I'm leery of it), and it's been charging for a few hours without a fault.
Am I just playing with fire *literally* here, or is there a plausible explanation?
