See the rim at the top (positive) ?

If it has a protection PCB it will have a ridge at the bottom as well - so its either LiMn or an unprotected

Its a IMR safer chemistry battery, the lavatube itself should have a protection circuit build into it.

From the LT specs "Short Circuit/Atomizer
Protection
Reverse Battery Protection -
Protects against reverse battery installation.

Monitoring/Over-Discharge Protection – Device should monitor the battery
voltage and automatically turn off when the battery is discharged.
Amperage Limiting to 2.5 amps –
