As for the battery in question, anything with "Fire" in the name shouldn't be trusted any further than the nearest recycle center.

+ 1. Agreed. :thumb:

@ wes1. There are more important ratings in judging a battery's quality than a dubious mAh rating by second tier battery sellers. Battery chemistry and the safety reputation of the name brand is far more important. An IMR Li Mn safe chemistry battery would be your better choice for a PV.

I've done my research on them. They seem to be beefier than most of the "cheap" batteries I've found. I personally wish mnke would make a beefy 18350. You know of any with a higher amp rating than 6.4?

Trust me, I've done my research on batteries, also. You won't find a safer, better battery than the AW IMR 18350 (700mah) 6 Amp. continuous discharge rate.

But that's an easy battery. I'm advanced enough to stay within my limits. I've got a 2 30 amp mnke18650 batteries that I would swear by.

Your original question was about an 18350 battery, and now you are jumping to an 18650 battery. Which are you asking about.

By the way, the MNKE IMR is a great battery, but it's continuous discharge rate is 20 amps, not 30.

AW IMR
18650 2000mah 10Amp CDR
18650 1600mah 24A

Panasonic or Orbtronic hybrid
CGR18650CH (IMR/Li Ion hybrid) 2250mAh 10A
NCR18650PD (high drain-high capacity) 2900mAh 10A

Samsung hybrid (LiNiCoMnP)
INR18650-20R 2000mah 22A

MNKE IMR
IMR18650 1500mah 20A

Sony IMR
us18650v3 IMR 2250mAh 10A

EFEST IMR
18650 2000mah 10A

* AW IMR 18490 (1100mah) 8.8A

*AW IMR 18350 (700mah) 6A

I'm just trying to safely run a 1ohm quad coil on stacked batteries safely.
If you have truly done your research as you say you have, you know that every battery expert advises against stacking batteries in mods. Here is just one. There are many others.

"Stacking batteries- The warning: Stacking batteries is not suggested- and hugely warned against. Stacking improper batteries can place a strain on the battery cell and cause venting and/or explosion. When stacking batteries, the risk goes up.

Read more ecigs, mods and battery safety | Guide To Vaping"

If you can't get enough voltage from just one battery, perhaps you shouldn't be applying the application that you are attempting. Sometimes just because "you can" doesn't mean "you should."

You won't get any sympathy from anyone on this forum if you are stubborn and go against sound advice concerning mod or battery safety. Our prime concern is helping vapors practice safe vaping. Anything that goes against safe vaping practices are not in the best interests to anyone or to the forum in general. I'm not being a snob, that is just the mindset we use here.

I wouldn't piss on a trust fire battery if it was on fire.
TangFire is a sister company or at least a close relative to TrustFire, UltraFire, [InsertFalseAndMisleadingAdjectiveHere]Fire.

I also have 2 panasonic 10 amp ncr18650 3400 mah batts that are a solid #2
Panny NCR18650B 3400mAh is only rated for 6.8A (2C x 3400mAh = 6800mA = 6.8A) If you are running them at anything over 7.5A you should throw them away. The PCB is defective or they are unprotected ICR batteries...either one is NOT good.

This goal is 100% impossible with today's battery technology.

IF there is indeed an 18350 battery that can handle it
There is not.

If your goal is 55 watts :)facepalm:) on a quad coil, there is MUCH easier and marginally safer ways of getting there. None of which I am going to disclose right now, because (TBH) I think you are a danger to yourself and possibly others if you need to come to the new members section and ask how to safely achieve your goal.
