Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for helping me make a choice 3 weeks ago, Got my UU manual kit and have not had a analog since for 3 weeks.
One of my manual 10 sec cutoff's does not last very long, about 45 min. I have charged it for 8 hours at first cycle, then 3 hours after that. I thought it was my charger but it charges the other one just fine. On the wall charger, the red light comes on for about 2.5 to 3 hours then changes to green, is the battery done when it changes to green or am i doing something wrong. I really dont want to bother steve or mark with this because they have thier hands full and its really no big deal. Just use the other battery and PT till i can order another one. I would like to try an auto down the road also but dont know if i would like it. We will see when i can spare some money to reload on some carts and new batterys. I just love the VK and everything about it.
Also the people on this forum are the best that i have seen, so helpful.
What a great forum and a great V4L site.
Thanks again

thanks for the quick responses and thank you steve, I'll mention that on my next order.

22 days and counting with no analogs.:)

Wall charger - just as you said. Extra long batts will take longer, but when green light comes on they are done.

PCC charger - when you plug into USB port to charge, a light will come on red and turn green when the PCC is charged. When you screw in a battery, the lower light will turn red to show batt is charging and will go off when battery is charged. It will blink intermittantly after the battery is charged.

Congrats on being cig free! YAY! ;)

DSal1, big congrats on quitting the analogs!! :thumb: And welcome.

ZDaddyl, I started out with a different e-cig model and later switched to the Vapor King from V4L. I got my first batteries from V4L about 6 weeks ago. I am a heavy vaper, so I don't know for sure how many times I've recharged them. I am just now starting to notice that the charge doesn't seem to last as long as when they were new. It's not a huge difference, just something I am noticing. So I've already ordered and received new batteries just to make sure I have extras on hand.

I assume that these lithium ion rechargeable batteries will die someday, since eventually all rechargeable batteries (like in my camera and other gadgets) hit the dust sooner or later. I think I read somewhere in another thread that 150-200 charges is typical. But I know I've probably exceeded that already, so your mileage may vary.

Hope this helps. :)

As a rule, my regular sized batts last 3-4 hours, and extra longs last 6-7. Depends a lot on how much you are hitting on it, your mileage may vary... ;) I haven't had a chance to try the shortie that they sent me yet. It doesn't seem to be taking a charge for some reason. (I'm leaving it on the charger for the 8 hours Mark recommended) No matter, just ordered 4, but I am guessing maybe 2-3 hours?
