Has anyone had any problems with manual batteries dieing at all? I am wondering only because I had received my UU kit last week and one battery will only last about an 20 mins. after having fully charged and I just received a call from my brother who had me order him a UU kit that he got last wed. and told me that one of his batteries doesn't even work. Says he charges it, wall charger turns green then tries to use it not tight and carto isn't even vaping.

I would say maybe Steve had gotten a bad batch of batteries but am not sure, my bat. has a green light and my brother has a blue light. They may have been from the same batch.

I already have an email into Steve about my bat. but I think I am going to give a call now because of my brother's bat. issue.

Has anyone else had any problems with their bat. or is this an isolated incident?

Sorry to hear that you're having probs with your batteries! I had one xtra long manual that some of the carts wouldn't screw on completely and, thus, wouldn't vape (Steve's already looked after me for that one). That sounds like what your brother is experiencing? As far as your battery goes ... sounds like a bad one to me. Steve will absolutely and definitely make good on these as I'm sure you may have already found out if you have phoned him already. One thing I can guarantee you ... whenever you have problems, Steve will be there to make things right again!

some carts are not compatable with some bats. be aware that either the cart or the bat/passthru must have a grove in the center ring to allow for airflow. None of the manual batteries or passthrus that I have purchased from V4L have the grove. Some of the carts that I have purchased from other vendors also do not have the grove. If you try to use a "no grove" bat with a "no grove" cart, you will get no airflow.

Double whammy on me today. My original battery that came with the UU kit, (White with an orange LED) didn't work when I needed it. Stuck it in the wall charger and guess what. No light on the wall charger. Not my day. Wonder if the problems were related, one failure caused the other?

Fortunately I had another charger and more batts.

Ok so I think I figured out the problem with my manual bat. and my brothers manual bat. They are not dead they do work but the problem is that you have to actually hold down the button ridiculously hard for it to work. Not sure why but I did call Steve and I left a message telling him the problem.
I work in QC at my job and do know that some people are shifty and try to claim something that is not true in hopes of getting either free stuff or their money back, I have no problem sending the malfunctioning items back for verification even though I know the warranty page says there is no need to and that Steve feels everyone should be and will be honest.

I just feel a little bit bad because I am the one who got my brother vaping and now he only has one bat. and another that kind of works. So I gave him my other one that works fine and am only working off of a pass through, thankfully I can hook the pass through up in my truck.

So if you think your manual bat. is dead try pushing the button down with a good amount of force and see if it works then..
