I have a 650 MAH battery and it does OK.(last about all day)
Now I see these clouds some get and think maybe I'm missing something :vapor:

Would I get better performance from a 1000 MAH battery or would it just burn up coils faster ?
How about a VV battery ?

I'm using a Kanger Protank 3 with 1.5 ohm dual coil if this helps

Whatever battery you use will only produce 4.2 volts fully charged with a quick drop into the 3's and a slow drop to 3.2 where it should be recharged. The thing the big battery gets you is the time it takes for this to happen. The 650mah on your battery means that it can provide 650 milliamps for 1 hour. A sony VTC 5 will produce 2600 milliamps for 1 hour. About 4 times as much. The 1000 mah battery will last a little longer.

Since all batteries produce the same voltage what you use should not affect how long your coils last.

With the 1.5 ohm coils you only need 2.8 amps and the stick batteries can do that.

VV, variable voltage,/ VW, variable wattage, mods play tricks with the electricity and can produce voltages over that of the battery. You can use a simple one, like a spinner, to get a little more vapor and a little more heat and possibly a little different flavor.

The guys blowing clouds are using mech mods with low ohm coils and that gets you into the hobby aspect of vaping. Lots of people quit smoking using a rig like you have now and never want more. Other people have fun with vaping as a hobby. It is going to cost over $100 for batteries, a charger, a mod, a dripper, rebuilding supplies, an ohm meter, a bunch of study to be safe, a bunch of study to learn what do do, a lot of frustration, a while. If you get caught in the hobby the $100 is just the beginning.

I would recommend getting your first setup from a good store where they will build you your first coil and watch you build the second. It's a huge step from where you are to the clouds.

Be safe and have fun.

Getting another eGo battery with more mAh will only give you longer battery time per charge, not more vapor.

The people you see blowing clouds of vapor are vaping enthusiasts who are hopefully more advanced and knowledgable than yourself, being that you are a vaping novice. They are likely using rebuildable atomizers (RBA). Cloud chasing can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. I'll provide some links that show how these people are making big vapor. Should you decide to go this route, please do your research and keep safety as your priority.

You can get more vapor if you use e-liquids with more Vg (vegetable glycerin). Vg is what makes vapor in e-liquids. The other component in e-liquid is Pg (propylene glycol) which is the flavor carrier.

I didn't know what was the cause, and thought I may have a bad battery or some things not right in my Ego set-up.

Not looking to carry a battery that can charge my phone or jump start my car on a cold day either. I like the covertness of what I have now as there is no smoking where I work to include Ecigs :(
Just thought there "may" be some thing wrong and want to CYA.

Thanks for the replies :toast:
