battery question

I just got a vv/vw 1300 battery. I opened it and clicked it 5 times and nothing happened, no light or anything else. I thought maybe it didnt come charged so i hooked it up to the charger and the light on the battery is red and the light on the charger is green. I took it off the charger and clicked it 5 times and still nothing. Am i doing something wrong? Or have i just been ripped off.

Could be defective, I had one do that and never was able to get it to fire.

5 rapid clicks, all within 2-3 seconds.
Have you tried it with a delivery device attached to see if it fires without illuminating the button?

If it won't work contact / return it to the place you bought it from for replacement or refund.

It was defective. My Freedom Smokes is sending me another one. They were really cool about it.

Yep i got the new one already. Only thing is, they said they would sent me an envope to send the bad one back to them but they didnt include one. Im gonna send it back to them anyway, just to show them everythings on the up and up.

Yes it does, but they were so good and fast about sending me the replacement that i feel i should do the same with them. Although they woulnt be losing much, the thing is dead as a doornail.

They likely get credited by their supplier for defective products.

Op Just get in touch with them and I'm pretty sure they will send you out a new envelope to use. I'd ask anyways.... I wouldn't just pay to ship it back. They have always gone way above for me. That's one of the reasons I like them. Super cool to deal with.
