Thinking of purchasing this but it says in the description to use with IMR batteries and wondering if my LG H2 are of that chemistry to use with?

Stop. Dont order the kick yet because you have alot of reading to do.

You need to learn basic battery knowledge before touching a mech.

You should only be using IMR batteries, and you need to understand what you are doing or you are gonna get yourself hurt.

From your OP I can tell that you havent done much research at all.

Im not being a ....., Im being honest.

Check out @Baditude 's blog for a fantastic introduction to mechanicals.

Vape safe.

Looking it over now. I have done research, but guess I need more. Thanks for pointing that out about the batteries. I use the LG H2 in my regulated devices but was unaware that they could NOT be used in a mech mod. I need a certain battery for that.

LG HE2 and HG2 Are IMR cells.

If you dont know what batteries you are using, you are asking for trouble.

Did someone advise you to buy this gear?
What mod are you using?

@Bad Ninja so from what I'm seeing using an IMR battery in a mech mod is safer? Can IMR batteries be used in regulated devices? I do have a couple IMR 18350 I purchased a while back for my Vmax.

Yes, depending on the requirements of the device.
High drain IMR cells are listed with a Continuous Discharge Rating.
You device and your builds need to keep power requirements below this threshold.

Seriously you need to spend some time reading.
Be safe.

I won't be vaping anything under 1 ohm. I feel like I'm getting yelled at. :(

Sorry.
My bedside manner isnt very PC but lets get real:
We are both grown adults discussing the dangers of sucking on a 20amp cell to get our nic fix.

I will always give solid advice, but I dont candy coat anything for adults.

High drain ( > 20 amps) IMR cells by a reputable manufacturer (i.e. Sony, LG, Samsung, and Panasonic makes some nice IMR 26650) are the only batteries you should use for vaping; the only exception would be a mod with a built in LiPo.
If I'm using LG HG2 for my istick 60w... am I using the wrong battery? I understand now the "safer" chemistry to be used with mech mods.
