Battery qusetion ?

So my provari will be here tomm. I have cgr 18650 Flat, and top button. So my ? is will the 1mm difference really make the flat top not work ? Kinda sucks if so cause 4 of them will just be sitting around now.

ps dont want to use magnets

Can't speak from personal experience, but Provape specifically states using the button top batteries only.

The way the insides are shaped, a flat top won't make a positive connection.. The connector is arranged such that only button tops can work. This is also what enables the 'reverse battery protection' feature as I understand it -- if it accepted flat tops you could put them in either way and they'd make a complete circuit.

If you look at the following picture of a Provari circuit in a wood box mod, you will notice how the positive connection is set in on the circuit board by about 1mm. That is why flat top batteries will not work.
