Just got a turtleship clone. using 18650 batteries. Is it normal to have battery rattle shaking side to side?

on some clones it is, you may be able to eliminate it with some electrical tape shims applied to the inside of the battery tube section (do not tape the actual battery itself as they may not fit properly in other mods)

Electrical tape shims? define that term please unless you are just referring to electrical tape in a certain manner
I think what Dakota was saying is that if you Battery moves from side to side inside your mod, that putting a piece of Electrical Tape in the Battery Cavity will take up the Gap.
If the Battery moves Up and Down, then it could be that the Spring in your Mod needs to be Stretched Out a Tad.
