We have been informed by vaping Outlaws that their current batch of 18650 Xtreme batteries, which were sold between the dates: 11/12/15 and 22/1/16, may pose a potential safety risk, such as battery venting, if used with sub-ohm devices. If you have an Xtreme Battery we urge you to cease using this battery and, following our instructions below, dispose of these batteries in a safe manner. All purchases of the Xtreme Batteries made during this period will be refunded (including shipping fees) within 7 working days.
This announcement only applies to the Vaping Outlaws 18650 Xtreme Cells (Blue Colour) purchased between 11/12/15 and 22/1/16.Batteries purchased before this period are not affected. The safety risk is limited to the batteries from the latest batch.
How to safely dispose of batteries.
These batteries do not present a danger when not in use, but we are advising the safe disposal of them. Recycling facilities for these batteries are typically found at large chain supermarkets or superstores. Those who are able to come to our store in Wembley, London, are urged to do so and return these batteries to us.
