Battery Sequencing

ok, im a little confused. I am planning out a dual 18650 VV mod. Im confused as to how to wire the batteries. My first thought is parallel, but Im looking at my VV Box from madvapes and its in a series.

Wouldnt a series be the same as stacking?

A little diagram of the thoughts in my head:

Parallel:

Series:

|[_________]> (+)

series and stacking are the same thing. Stacking is slang the proper term is series if you want to get technical

Figured it out, ended up making a dual 18650 3.7v mod, had to rewire the battery holder to support a parallel circuit though 4400 mah ftw
