Battery Spacers

I got a few battery spacers for some of the batteries that aren't quite long enough, just one problem, and I feel stupid asking this. What end do the magnets go on? Positive or Negative? Don't give me a hard time , just tell me what end to put the batteries. Thanks everyone

If it's flat top batteries...on the positive end so it makes contact with the charger. It really doesn't matter as long as you've got contact
