Hi Guys, my battery got stuck in my USB charger, wouldn't turn either way. In the end I got the toolbox out and took the charger a part, now the battery isn't attached to the charger, however part of the charger is stuck. I have tried everything to get it off, pliers etc any help would be great! I'll attatch a photo:

it's a new battery or I wouldn't be bothered!

Wow I'm sorry to hear of your troubles From the looks of it its pretty stuck on there. I would try the plier on the connector and maybe a plier on the silver part of the battery use a rag between the pliers and the battery and pray it doesn't mark it up is my best suggestion. Heat directly onto the connector would cause it to expand and could come off that way, but you risk heating the mod and battery inside it. cold will only contract the connector and Lithium batteries don't like cold very much.

You can try to shock it out here is how lock down the connector in a vice jaw put pressure turning the battery mod loose at the same time hold lossening pressure on the mod and hit the vice jaw rite next the where its holding the connector.

I would grind or file through the ring stuck on the battery in two places and pry it off. Check the battery carefully, if it has too much damage better to be safe and replace it. :2c:

grinding isn't a bad idea but could cause to much heat Go in small steps and use a damp rag to cool it down after a couple min of cutting till its far enough to pry away.

I know this isn't what you want to hear and of no help to you now, but..

Get a brand name Joye ego or Janty. They have warranties on their chargers and batteries. I think Joye is around 3 months and Janty 6 months. There are many reputable suppliers in the UK that will stand behind their products.

I plan on taking it back to the shop as both the charger and battery were from there.

Any advice on the spare one I have? It was working two days a go, yesterday and earlier today, charged it fine the past days too. Today it died so I plugged it in the charger, red light as usual, couple of hours later the light was green. The battery isn't working though, no blue light on button press with or without a head and no vape.
