The next step would be to move up to a mod. Since funds are tight your best option really is the iTaste MVP 2.0. Fantastic little mod for the price.

What features do you wish to advance up to? More battery capacity? Better variable voltage? Variable wattage? LED display with voltage and ohm resistance meters?
