I have a vision spinner 3s. Where the tanks thread onto the battery it is loose and wiggles around a bit. This is causing there to not be a right connection and the vaporizer won't fire unless I pull the loose tank to one side or the other a tiny bit. Anyone know how I can tighten this? There is a tiny screw on the side of the piece that's loose, yet that screw is tightened as much as I can get it. If you're familiar with the vision spinner 3s (if not I attached a photo), the silver part on the top of the battery (not the 510 thread part, but the silver ring below it) with the number of volts and hash marks on it is the part of the battery that is loose and wiggles. I just got it less than a month ago and the store in my town has since closed and the manufacture won't help me, they said I would have had to bought it from them or return it to the store (that is now out business). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I could suggest is a little redneck engineering. Use a toothpick or some other small/thin non-metallic object to shim the loose part over until you get a stable good connection. Then break off the toothpick. Or, don't break it off and wear that thing like a badge.

HI and welcome to the board. I used vision spinners back in the day. I rather doubt there is anything to be done with it. You can try Coastal's toothpick idea, and I'll throw in duct tape. Aside from that, I think you need a new one. I wouldn't mess around inside it, even if you can get it open, unless you are an electronics tech and know what you're doing. Your really don't want a short. Seriously.

There's not enough of a gap between the voltage dial and the ring that has the voltage numbers on it to fit anything as a shim, the dial wraps around the part that wiggles and shimming it would require removing and reinstalling the shim each time I change voltage. So plus it's just as easy to put the tip in my mouth and push the battery slightly to one side or the other to get it to fire. But if I vape more than 10 hits in a minute or two the airflow collar part of the tank gets pretty hot, so I assume that's cuz it isn't making a proper connection

I'm going to agree on the new setup idea especially if vaping is working well for you so far. You could try engineering it in the meantime, but even if you continue using it, it's good to have a backup setup.... Lots of inexpensive setups on the market at this point. If you do decide to buy a new mod, I'm sure you'll find yourself with lots of suggestions if you ask.

Welcome to ECF.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Could try to wrap an 510 to eGo/510 Converter Adapter thread with conductive foil or just glue in with conductive epoxy.
