How long can a vtc5 last on an ipv mini2 if you chainvape at 30W?

I'm getting 5 hours max. Is this normal?

This helped me, hope it does the same for you.

20ga wire making a 1.8 ohm coil, are you sure? That's 0.8mm diameter wire and it will require 43 wraps on a 3mm former to make 1.8 ohms. I assume that was a mis-type.

Assuming you are measuring the resistance right...
4.2 volts and 1.8 ohms draws (V/R) 2.3 amps
4.2 volts and 0.9 ohms draws 4.6 amps.
Those batteries are specified for 10A and 20A continuous discharge. Giving a 20% margin of safety would be prudent, but even so you are well within the safe zone.

Do not use these batteries at the same time in the same device; they are not identical and therefore will not share their duties equally. The stress could lead to venting.

I have two points then.

1. Until you know this stuff yourself, it is highly dangerous for you to be thinking of building coils with resistances anywhere near this low.
2. A 0.18 ohm coil will draw 23.3 amps. It is not safe with either of the batteries.

I seriously doubt that you will create an efficient build for the 98 watts that this coil will generate; such builds require experience. You won't enjoy vaping it, it will produce toxins, and it will drink liquid at a vast speed.

It will be more cost effective and far more enjoyable to bin the wire and buy some thinner stuff.
