Battery voltage in a mechanical mod

Haydenr25 & edyle; now that's how you measure and calculate voltage drop (actually mod resistance)! Now I'll have to write down the formulas as I never remember them (I was good at math when I was younger, but that was a looong time ago...)

So to find that resistance value of 1.44 ohms you just divide the battery voltage by the amps flowing through the coil? Then just add up your internal battery resistance and coil resistance to get the difference, which is the mod resistance? Also, I'm guessing 0.03 ohms is pretty good for a clone?

4.07 = 2.82(1.3 + 0.11 + R)
1.44 = 1.41 + R

That part is just algebra; solving the equation for R.

Compared to the figure you gave of 0.11 ohms internal resistance, 0.03 ohm for the mod itself is definitely very good.
