Battery Won’t Charge

I got a new battery and haven’t been able to use it yet. When I connect it to the charger the light flashes white 3 times, flashes red 3 times, stays solid red for a couple seconds, flashes red 10 times, and then turns off. The charger light is green. When I tap the button, regardless of the amount of taps, nothing happens. Someone please help.

I will say that's an awesome indicator the battery is done... they have a limited lifespan.

Also - If you let them run down too low (usually from non-use) they will be unable to be recovered.

So I'd just return the battery to the shop you purchased it from, for saftey's sake and get a new one.

have you turned it on, click the fire button 5 times

if memory serves the charger should stay red until charged then it will turn green.... please tell me the shop you got that from didn't try to tell you it is new.... that's old school nothing wrong with old school but if it doesn't turn on, nor charge it's probably been sitting in their shop for a while, or was returned and resold.

Take it back to the shop

That's a very old ego-style battery. It's probably been on the back of a vape shop shelf for the last 4 or 5 years collecting dust and over-discharged.

Take it back to the shop and tell them it was doa right out of the box and they should replace it for you without a problem.
