Battery wrap?

My wife has been using a sigelei Spark (horrible mod...never buy one) and the battery compartment is so tiny you have to catch the spring pin with the edge of the battery and compress it before there is enough room. Luckily this only damages the negative side of the wrap.

I'd really like to wrap them in something before I let her put them in a new mod...any thing is possible.

So how do I wrap one? And what with?
I could wrap them in electrical tape but it would add several microns, look like crap and be eternally sticky.

That's the tutorial I would have replied with

I just cut them about 1/4" longer than the battery, slide them on, and hit them with my wife's 1500W hair dryer until they shrink into place.

It's a good way to mark batteries before shrink wrapping and not have the markings wear off.
