Hi all

Don't understand the whole battery thing in terms of volts etc, I am buying a Wismec reuleaux RX200, I don't intend vaping upto 200 watts but have tanks that I normally vape at around 35 watts,
I know you are all thinking why buy something so powerful but I like it and want it,
What's the best and safest battery to use at the wattage level.

Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks for your help with this, I have read so much about battery's but really don't understand, what's it mean by not letting your battery go below a certain volts when discharging and how do you know,
Sorry for all the questions.

Hi and welcome. @dcfluegel has the right of it. I use the LG HG2s in both of mine. They are 20 Amp, 3000 mAh batteries, and they give excellent service in the RX200. You don't need to worry about battery voltage in that mod. It will kick them out as too discharged to use at about 3.4 volts, and that's plenty safe.

You don't want your battery voltage to drop below 3.4 volts. This only happens with mechanical mods.

Fully charged they are 4.2 volts. 3.7 volts is the mean voltage. Batteries that drop below 2.5 volts will suffer internal damage. Regulated mods won't allow you to drain the batteries below 3.5 volts.

Regulated mods generally have a voltage meter function which will tell you the battery's voltage. I believe the RX200 will display the voltage of all three batteries simultaneously. See the functions in the below video.

Lg hg2's or samsung 30q's... Make sure you keep/use married sets together is sound advice.

Nobody is thinking that.

I know loads of folk who buy 2 and 3 battery (18650) mods for the battery life and the 'ease' of power.

I use LG HE4s and Sony VTCs. Same thing, they are way too good for my needs, but when I see my mod reading "5.45 amps" I know I'm safe.

Presumably, the mod will not let you run them too low. I did once run a VTC too low... such a shame to see that battery go in the recycling.

Hi @Wizard465 and welcome to the forum. I have the Wismec and top it with a Smok TFV4, running 50 to 60 watts on the triple coil, or a Subtank Mini at 25 watts. LG HG2's give great mah. I love the ergonomic comfort of the Wismec.

Make certain you buy your batteries in sets... to be used and charged in matched/married sets so that the batteries stay balanced and not draw on an under powered or mis-matched battery. I use two sets, one for charge and one for use, with all the batteries labeled either set 1 or set 2 so they stay together.
