I am going to order an SB, chrome/chrome and wondering what batts you like the best in this? I already have 2- UF 3000mah, and 2- AW IMR 1600mah. I figure that either one will be good.
IMR are great for LR atties/cartomizers. I was not impressed with the 3000mAh UF though. I really really like the AW 2900mAh that lighthound sells.

I have two ultrafire bats I initially got and rarely use them. I tend to throw in IMR if none of the 5 volt batteries are charged(they are only 600mah and wear down fast when using a dual coil atomizer). I have found I prefer vaping with the 5 volt batteries most of the time, especially after the dual coil atomizer has broken in a little bit. As I said, if they are not charged, I fall back to the IMR batts after that, if all else fails, then its the ultrafires.

At dragoncon several years ago he was there with Peter Jurasik. Ran into them when Andreas was outside having a smoke, Peter told me all about coming out of the studio and often seing Gkar, not andreas, sitting there puffing away (make up was a pain to take off and Andreas was a heavy smoker as was I). The idea was just too funny, but the avatar pict I found was even funnier looking than I could have imagined.

Hi folks! I new soon to be SB owner here! YES!!!!

But... I just ordered it last night and I got the 2900 batts instead of these 3100s you're talking about. (I could barely afford the SB)

I figured 3100 mAh wasn't must more... And why pay double for it? Yup. I'm a battery dumass.

Did I make a mistake? How much of a difference is there between the two?

The difference in price between the 2900mAh and 3100 is a few bucks. But if you found a place that sells AW 2900 at half of the 3100 let me know. I'd like to buy some :p Was it the 2600mAh one from the website or did you pick up the 2900mAh 18650 else where?

As far as battery knowledge goes, we all have to start somewhere. And people who even knew what an 18650/14500 was before vaping are few and far between. Poor chad had to put up with my newbieness for quite some time :p

Hi halo. Yup. Can't even remember what I bought. :). Is there a big difference between the 2600 and 3100? Will I get a full day with the 2600? I'm a fairly heavy vaper.

Thanks!

The AW 3100 will last about 18% longer than the 2600 before needing to be recharged and performs slightly better. They're better built batteries in comparison and should last longer before needing to be replaced. But for is it worth the price tag? Some say yes, some are happy with the cheaper ones. It never hurts to pick up one at some point and try for yourself :p
