Batts Question for Reo Grand

Hi all,
I just received my Reo Grand and I guess i had a brain fart moment when i ordered it because i didnt really look at what batts were recommended. apparently AW IMR 18650's are the way to go but i gave mine away about a year ago and all i have left now are 2 AW IMR 16340's 3.7V. could those work for a standard boge carto? i'll order the 18650's today but i was just wondering if i could use those to hold me over without any potential risk of blowing up my face, or even worse... the REO!

Those are the batteries that are used in the VV Woodvil. No, please don't try them in the Grand! They would compress your spring down all the way "if" you could squeeze them in there. Don't try it!

+1 for dont try this at home... Probably wont blow your face off but most likely gonna fry something

Thanks guys i actually popped the batteries in to see if they would fit and u were correct nerak, they do compress the spring all the way. I guess i'll just have to wait for my 18650. *sad*

Please don't use the Reo w/ the spring compressed....big mistake!!!!
