Bauway 306 LR Atomizer question

I buy these from Mt Baker for tasting juice samples, and they are great for that. I have a question, though.

The package comes with 5 of these in a box with what looks like drip tips made of really thin plastic already on the atomizer. Then, taped to the outside of the box are 5 delrin tips made of thicker plastic.

Why the two items? Are the ones in the box supposed to be cartos? If so, they don't have any wicking material in them so how are you supposed to pack them with wicking material and what kind would be good to use?

I think they probably just put those on to keep the atty's clean/protected.

I sounds like they included real (delrin) drip tips for each atomizer--can't tell for sure without a picture. The 306 atties usually come with a thin and not very good drip tip that people replace immediately.

ooh I remember when I ordered my 1st one... totally confused me looking at the carto like casing, had to youtube/google how to find out using them as I didnt realise you just pull off the outer casing and pop a 306 driptip over the coil

In my defense I have to mention that in the UK you generally buy the 306 drip tip separately

They are a great way to test out your liquids, I still use them today and have some in stock always, its so faff free and simple. Theres nothing worse than filling up your atomiser with a juice that is vile on 1st try!
