...the SB has a reputation as a rock solid almost bullet proof mod...having said that, understand that whether you use a 7-11 cheapie or a 250 dollar Darwin, the basic function is the same...with a mod, you can get a more consistent vape and make best use of your equipment...I gotta ask, what are you vaping on right now...dripping, using atty/cart combo or some sort of cartomizers w/wo tanks...I ask, because a mod is not a magic wand, just a better mouse trap...........

...well, it sounds like you've tried 'em all...as I stated, a mod is no magic wand...that does not exist and a certain level of will power is always gonna be needed to succeed...you've told us what kinda accessories you have used but not what model of PV/batts you are using to push them and what kinda nic level/type juice you have used..............

p.s. could you tell us, specifically, what kinda problems you are actually having............mj

I have the Silver Bullet, and I use it every day, all day. It is a great little PV, I love the ability to use one 18650 battery for 3.7v vaping, or two 16340 batteries for 7.4v high voltage vaping. Also, it is INDESTRUCTIBLE! Some of the finish has worn off, and it has a few dings in it from me being clumsy, but I have never found a way to stop it from working in the 6 months I've had it. If you want a PV that will last you a LONG time without maintenance, I recommend the Silver Bullet. I have been rough on mine, one time I accidentally dropped it down a flight of stairs, and the cartomizer was snapped off at the end. I was like 'NO!', but on closer examination, the sleeve of the carto had bend and broken free, all I had to do was unscrew the threads. The threads on the Silver Bullet were still fine, and I've since then done the same thing to it, and it still works flawlessly. It is an armoured vehicle.

I left a trail of fixed-voltage mods in my wake while making the same search you are now (one of them a Silver Bullet). In the end, all of them are essentially battery holders with a switch, although a few deliver a regulated voltage (but not the SB or BB).

My wanderings came to a close with VV.

You might want to look at the soon-to-be-released Infinity Pro, which is roughly in the same price category as the SB, but with far greater capabilities: IPro

Sorry for the delayed response. I have the ego t. That is my PV. The problems I have probably are due to some weakness in will power. I noticed I used up my favorite juice, got some bad juice and then just started back into analogs. I have been using 24 to 36 nic levels.

That's your problem right there, you ran out of juice. Before you go spending hundreds more, find a juice or juices you really like and get enough so you don't run out. Almost everybody has some variation of an eGo battery kicking around. I use them all day every day. Get some LR cartomizers or a LR atty and drip tip first. Once you're satisfied that this will work for you then go for the gold.

+1! You won't likely find your vaping pleasure just by switching your battery holder. You need to figure out exactly what you're missing from analogs and go from there. The peripheral gear you put ON the battery holder is where you need to look. VV can be an awesome thing, but if you put the incorrect stuff on it, it's not going to answer your needs.

So...exactly what is it that you need from a PV that you're not getting?
