Bdl 14500

I bought a set of these bdl 14500 batts and I set of the aw imr 14500, my aws fit and are doing fine. The bdl batts do not fire in my box mod even with the magnets attached. I think I saw somewhere that u have to drill some of the plastic part off to make them work. Not sure I can do that. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes, you need battery spacers. Or little bits of tin foil etc...The BDL batteries do not have a tip on them, so they are not making contact. 99% of the time, I send a free magnetic spacer with each BDL battery.

What is the difference between the bdl and the aw imr? What kind of performance do each one of them give? Is one better or safer than the other?

Same Chemistry. The AW are made to a higher quality level. Like a Cadillac vs a Chevy.

What's the policy on batteries? I cannot use these, I would like to return them. I assume they would be best used in maybe a tube mode then? Idk. I have a box

I need help with these they will not fit in my mod box. I tried to ask before I bought them, but I did not get an answer so since COV had such great reviews I bought both and figured one would work. I am happy with the aw imr 14500, but can't say anything about the bdl batts cause I cant use them, even with the magnets. Guess I will post to classifieds since I can't get an answer, again. This is very disappointing
