Butter???

I have to disagree with your assessment completely! To bend the tube on the Prodigy, you would have to have done more than "I knocked the bottom of the black tube (battery container) against the table quite softly by mistake."

I have dropped mine on concrete from waist-high many times. ...Nothing, not even a scratch. Still looks and works like new.

Why are you making statements like this? Is your Prodigy different than the other 1000 or so that have been sold? I've not seen anyone else making such rediculous claims. It makes me suspect your intentions.

Out of curiosity, did you try to resolve this with Steve or Casey privately before posting these threads publicly?

Since when can you not post about a problem you are experiencing? He didn't say hey don't buy this pos. He just said be careful with it. Please don't act like a fanboy. I own a toyota camry, I've never had problems with it and have never heard of a problem with any others. But if someone says hey, i had a problem with x on my car. I sure as hell wouldn't jump down their throat and be arrogant about it and say it could never happen. You have to take all factors into consideration. Magical accidents do happen. You know, the ones that seem like all the stars are alligned just right and something ......ed happens. Let's see some pics, it's what they call million to one odds. If they didn't give these events statistics then there is no way they thought it would happen. Anything is possible.

I believe that leaves no working parts!

Check his other posts. He has reported every part has had problems....... I actually thought that yesterday, when reading his charger problems. I thought to myself, WOW At least the tube is in one piece. I wake up this morning...

Actually it doesn't. Take your cap off and try to bend it. It wont budge. Especially not softly knocking it against a table. If you drop a table on it yes.

If quovadis has a problem with his Prodigy, he should first take it up with the seller in private BEFORE posting numerous threads publicly complaining. It seems he's had nothing but problems with every aspect of his device from the adapter, battery, switch, end cap, and charger. Now the bent tube? He also seems quite adimate to make sure everyone knows every single issue. ...hmmm

To state that the tube bent so bad he couldn't get the cap back on because he "quite softly " tapped it against the table? ...Am I the only one with a Prodigy?

I'm all for fairness in trade of any kind. However, I believe a solution should be sought privately before a public stoning.

It dropped right on the black part where the threads are.
Touch that part, you will see how flimsy the metal is.
I had to use pliers to bend it back.

Unscrew the bottom cap, and you will see that where the threads are on the inside of the tube the metal is soft and can be bent very easily.

I remember that not even a week ago, you sent your Prodigy back to Steve with atomizer, adapter, battery, switch, end cap, and charger problems. How did that turn out?? What was the diagnosis??

BTW how about posting some pictures?? Can you actually see the bend in the tube??

It was the switch
I bought a new switch in case it ever happens again.
They exchanged the prodigy, no questions asked.

I knocked the bottom of the black tube (battery container) against the table quite softly by mistake.
The metal bends like butter.
Now i can't screw the cap back in !!!!!!!!
That batt container is so fragile...beware!!

So did you knock it against the table (quite gently), or drop it? Which is it?

Ok. Will have to check this out. From what height did you "drop" it?? I am thinking as a viable test, I will remove the endcap and hit it 50 times on a hard metal object. Possibly a pipe wrench. Should it bend in your opinion?? I will post video later tonight.

Guys
if you read my post, the bottom battery cap was off.
The tube fell onto the table.

Had the side of the tube hit the table nothing would have happened.
Unfortunately the EDGE of the threaded part hit the table and bent inwards.

The end of the tube where the threads are is weak without the cap screwed in.

Nite writer ...what are you afraid of ? I love my prodigy...what are you getting all aggressive about?
Calm calm ...why use force when there's Vaseline?

OK. I will be stopped for the night in 2 hours. I have already tested it and am sure it will not bend on video either. But we will see.

Calm calm ...why use force when there's Vaseline?

BTW... IMHO the vaseline comment was not needed when speaking to a lady. Just my opinion.

Funny
i did not imagine her reaction to be associated with a feminine one,
normally it's us guys that flare up without thinking too much...

Ok no Vaseline then, just stick to the butter !!

I have been a client of Puresmoker since Dec of last year. I have NEVER known Steve to not take care of customers with issues. I take offense because you publicly slam a supplier I know is reputable, with issues that seem user related.

Have you tried resolving your issues privately? If so, did PS remedy the problems without questions? If so, why are you still complaining publicly and seemingly trying to give PS and the Prodigy a bad name?

PS, I am not afraid of anything. I stand up for what I know and believe in.
