I Just was browsing on ebay to see if I found a RDA and for my surprise what i found is out of this world.. LOTS of people reselling fasttech stuff for double or triple the price even some of them with the original fasttech photos.. This is insane.. Lots over priced items just because lots of people think ebay is the cheap place to buy

well , it does state its the BUDZ worx ERA, and I hope that it is, because like you say, the clone is dirt cheap. They do say its made in the Phillipines which is where the ERA is made. Im gonna contact the seller out of curiosity and ask him if it is a genuine Budz Worx

Yeah, for the right gear, eBay is where it's at. Overpriced, re-sold vaping supplies isn't the exclusive idea of eBay ......, either. Someone find that $700 eGo link again...

Like anywhere else, caveat emptor. Know what you are buying, how much it should be, and how to distinguish generics from genuine.

I sent a message and also, I think EBAy rules say you have to post a photo of the actual item for sale and BUDZ devices are always stamped with a logo.

Considering the money I save from not smoking I have no need to shop for Vapeing supplies on EBAY and hope I never do.

That said I understand the need of many to use eBay.

There are creeps in every facet of life, taking advantage People in some form or another.

Well...just last week we found out a vendor in California uses fasttech for his inventory and resells at a ridiculous mark up (he actually inquired on ECF about it and got caught in his own inquiry)... So, I'm not surprised with ebay...

ebay still has a no tobacco related rule. And they still consider e-cig stuff to be tobacco related. If this stuff really bothers you, it is a very simple procedure to put in a report.

I wanted to find out if the rule was still intact and reported one last week. Gone soon after. I think the ebay ecig police take the weekends off, much of this stuff gets listed but as soon as they are caught, everything disappears.

Seems like all the vaping stuff on is waaaay overpriced. I mean come on we want to make this more appealing don't we not put people off by it. I saw someone selling the smok pyrex dct tank for $18 and all the the web they are from 11-13.

Not to say I'd buy off ebay for PV stuff b/c of the no rule policy but...

I never understood why anyone cares what some sellers charge for the products they sell. If a seller is asking way above retail for an item, so what? Listen, I can list and charge whatever I want for an item I'm looking to sell. If people think it's overpriced they don't have to buy it and can look elsewhere.

Also, I'm thinking that anyone looking for an RDA is experienced enough to know what the average price is and can buy it other than an overpriced ebay listing. If they can find it on ebay they can find it elsewhere. The world is at people's fingertips and just a few keystrokes away.

+1 ennagizer. It's a free market and things are only worth what people are willing to pay.

While I don't like to see anyone get ripped off, I do believe that if you are bidding on an item from Ebay, the very least you have done is researched the item and know how much it costs from other vendors. If you haven't and you still think the price is fair, then bid away.

I too want to 'protect' other vapers, but I also believe that we are all responsible for our own actions - we can't always protect people from themselves.

Agreed 100%!!

I get all my wick and Kanthal from ebay. The prices for the amounts in which you receive is unbeatable!! My last order was for 50feet of Silica and 100feet of Kanthal. Didn't pay more than $40 for all that.
