the funny is.. I bought 2 ego set ups there.. on my first one, it was from Israel (didn't pay attention)..
it said a weird shipping time, like 3 weeks after purchase lmao.. I called ebay and they checked. Cancelled my order and told me to try another seller.
Not sure on the no tobacco deal. I think it must have the tobacco with it. (maybe) then again, I have seen cartons of cigs for sale on there too.

I did find some fantastic juice there.. however.. it all lead me to here, and well.. you know how that went :p

now I have 2 more egos, my horizontal dripping set up, and I make my own juice.

sometimes, even tho it's an expensive lesson, it might just be worth it. the lessons and friends and well.. its so much better.

I got a reply from the seller of the ERA and he sounds legit. Nice response, he says its a genuine ERA, and it seems reasonable if it is genuine.

I agree, buyer beware, but ebay has a policy that if the item is not as advertized or describe you can get a return. If you buy using paypal, than you are protected also.

I think we all have the right to sell for what we feel someone will pay. Now, with that its our own set of morals that come in place. If you are selling something that you know is a clone as the real thing, that is just plain dishonest, If you know it is damaged , again, dishonest. If it is an item known to be dangerous or a serious fault with it, that makes you criminal.

I think a lot of it is knowing what you are buying. Its really simple to do a search and find out about the item , selling prices, reviews etc. to compare what the item is listed. If its something that is out of production or has a really long waiting list , than again, its what you are willing to pay.

BTW, 48 dollars for shipping? really? is it faster than same day shipping? what within 12 hours? :)

I sent a message and also, I think EBAy rules say you have to post a photo of the actual item for sale and BUDZ devices are always stamped with a logo.

I've sold stuff (not vape gear) on eBay for years, and the pic doesn't necessarily have to be of the actual item. I've used a generic stock photo for some of my listings. I am proud, however, that I wasn't gouging my customers. But, yeah, there's folks all over looking for a quick buck.

I'm missing something. What is wrong with buying something at one price and selling it for a higher price? That's all these people are doing. I'm not an expert on mods or anything but much of the ecig stuff I've looked at on ebay is still less than at my local store.

Just like anything else in life, I've read both horror stories and fairy tales about local B&Ms. I used to think, Man..I wish there was one close to where I live! These days, not so much. I'm pretty well stockpiled, and prefer shopping online for some reason. If I went to a B&M and their prices were outrageous, I don't think I would be able to control my look of shock (maybe even disgust), and I would probably turn right back around and walk out, even though I'm not the least bit rude by nature. Maybe I just like waiting for and receiving vapemail.

But on topic, I've looked through eBay listings several times and some of them made me think, You have GOT to be kidding me! But on the other hand...it's hard to feel sorry for someone (the duped consumer) who was too lazy to do a 15 second google search to find out if there was a better price out there somewhere. I would probably sell my car for a thousand dollars more than it's worth, if someone offered me the money, so I'm not going to throw any stones. Especially in today's cyber age, the onus is, I think, just as much on the buyer as it is the seller.

In short, I agree with you.

I never understood why anyone cares what some sellers charge for the products they sell. If a seller is asking way above retail for an item, so what? Listen, I can list and charge whatever I want for an item I'm looking to sell. If people think it's overpriced they don't have to buy it and can look elsewhere.

Also, I'm thinking that anyone looking for an RDA is experienced enough to know what the average price is and can buy it other than an overpriced ebay listing. If they can find it on ebay they can find it elsewhere. The world is at people's fingertips and just a few keystrokes away.

I care because some people, like i.e my own beloved mother, knows next to nothing about internet shopping and is easy prey to people who... well... live off of scamming people who don't know better. Just a fictional example. She won't shop online unless I do it for her.

In other words, I don't care for people who need laws and regulations to keep them from acting like... ... don't think I can elaborate and still keep my account.

The world is only a few keystrokes away if you're somewhat familiar with computers.

Not really meant towards you personally, but this topic does strike a nerve.
