I do not have one myself, but an image search shows it to have just a 510 connection and it is neither VV or VW.

your Ego is V-Voltage, so to get the same type of vape from a non-adjustable device, you would need to use a coil that was between 1.5 and 2 ohms

it looks to me that the 510 connection is part of the stem, so if you want to use a non-510 connection, you will need to get an adapter.

This looks like the same one I have. The actual 510 connection is down in the stem and an extension is used to bring it up to the end where you see it in the pic. I take my thumbnail or something with an edge and twist out the extension on mine. If you do look down in the stem and you will see the actual 510 connector. There is a small clear plastic washer of sorts on the outer end of the extension, this is to keep the end held in place in the hole of the stem. I use Smok LR XL cartos in Artemus locking ring tanks. Been using mine for over six months with no issues. Be careful when trying to take the tank off if you have been vaping hard for a while and things are warm. The extension will stay on the tank when you unscrew it, so just be aware of that.

I am very happy with mine. I've only used carto-tanks so far, though I've read of other tanks being used with 510 to ego adapter. When using tanks, I highly recommend locking tanks such as the Artemas. My only spillage accidents have been when using non-locking tanks. I've grabbed the tank and had the tank slip up the carto causing some spillage. Also, I've faced some mild challenges when I've managed to somehow tighten the carto a little tight so it is difficult to remove.
