I've had my Provari since August. It's held up great. It's experienced several falls onto the pavement getting out of my car (I absentmindedly leave it on my lap while driving - bad habit of mine.). It's also rolled off of a locker room bench a couple times onto a hard tile floor (another bad habit). Not a scratch. The newer satin colors are a special carcotte paint designed to wear especially well.
I personally do not believe there is a finer regular production vaping device made. You realize this the moment you first hold one in your hand, it exudes quality. Extremely durable: People here have reported dropping them from buildings, dropping them from moving cars, dropping them in a swimming pool, running them over with a truck, even leaving them in a pants pocket that went into the washing machine...yet they continue working. Provape has earned an excellent reputation for customer service. Then there is the confidence that even after the generous one year warranty (additional 1 year option is available at time of purchase for two full years), Provape will continue to service the Provari for reasonable fees. Think that will happen with the cheaper Chinese mods?
It's one of the safest APV's made. It's best feature is probably the Accuset chip which allows it to deliver exactly the voltage that you set from the beginning of your battery until it is drained. The built in voltage and atty meters are pretty convenient, too.
It costs more initially, but considering you are getting a device that is so accurate and so durable, with exceptional company support, nearly all owners feel it is worth every penny. In fact, most say they wished they had bought theirs before wasting money on the more inexpensive APV's.
It's not for everyone. There may be APV's that have more bells and whistles. Plenty of devices that will vape nearly as well as a Provari. But I feel you would be hard pressed to find a mod that will survive the test of time better than a Provari. Kind of like our Silver Bullets; they've been around for a long time, yet they still are a very popular device that Altsmoke has trouble keeping up with their demand.
