Today is day 9 for me, with a generic Ego and CE4. The hubby and my son just brought them home and said, put the cigs down and try this. Well, I've not had an analog since. Of course I already have a basket full of different juice. Kind of fun to try all the different flavors. Plus we have a brand new store here, so not hard to find in my area.

But for me, the best part, or should I say the most telling part of knowing that what I'm doing is much healthier, is looking in the mirror.

A little background: I'm 48 and have been smoking for 32 years. The minute I got my drivers license, I ran to the store and got a pack of cigs.

Of course I'm experiencing most of the benefits already mentioned over and over throughout the forum. Better breathing, less sinus issues, more energy and stamina, etc. But..............

as for the looking in the mirror, I'm just amazed at the condition of my skin, my pores are much smaller than they were when I was smoking analogs. And the other plus, the bags under my eyes that were making me think "Eek, I'm starting to look like Mom." are almost non existent, already.

I must be doing something right, because I've tested all my triggers, coffee in the morning, of course the after meal thing, and also a couple beers, and I have not had any cravings with the vape.

I've tried every other method to quit analogs, just like so many here, only to meet that with failure, over and over again. vaping is my magic bullet in my fight to stop analogs. And I'm determined to never look back.

Welcome to the forum and great job on making the switch from analogs. I think the keys to success are having the desire, family/friends support, great equipment to start with and juices that you like. Sounds like you had them all.
There is so much info on this forum and people willing to help you with any problems you may encounter.

Thanks guys!

I've been reading here for a week or so, and I'm really impressed at the amount of information. Of course I already want another battery, and a few more clearomizers.

My son, 23, has also been analog free for 9 days, my hubby has had a few analogs, but I'm sure with time, he will eventually put them down completely. I know that everybody is different. And he smoked more than I did.

I should say I'm using the 18mg juice. My plan is to step down, but I'm in no big hurry.

The mini tanks are superior to the cartos. They do everything better, and easy to fill and see how much you have.

Before you pop for another battery, consider the mighty Triton. Yea, a bit pricey, but the large tank is amazing. Great flavor, mondo clouds, and less problems than many of the other stuff people fiddle with.

Come on, a few more posts from you, then join us in the contest and maybe win some cool Halo stuff!!

Dave, I'm going to have to see what a Triton is. LOL Now you have me curious.

My only frustration is the 650 doesn't last me all day. Other than that, I have no real complaints.

I have a clero with a top wick and then I just bought a bottom wick clero the other day from the shop here. It's got the replaceable bottom wicks.

I know I have a lot to learn about this.

But would someone tell me, what am I going to do with the almost full carton of analogs I have in the fridge? Bonfire anyone? ROFL

It's not nice to give someone else something so harmful, but if they are going to smoke anyway, why not give them to some needy smoker? There's a place near me where the undocumented day workers gather. They'd appreciate it. They also hang in the morning at Home Depot. But donate them away!! Save them a few bucks during this Holiday Season.

You need room in the fridge for all the goodies.

What flavor do you like so far? Mine is Malibu, with a few drops of Belgian Cocoa.

Find a analog using friend and make a deal with them. Tell them you will give them the analogs you have, if they promise to use the money saved by using your gift to buy an Ecig starter kit. That may get them into vaping and off the analogs.

I'm partial to the coffee flavors, but my newest obsession is with one called beatlejuice. To me it tastes like cotton candy.

Ok, so funny thing is, we've converted all our analog friends over to vaping, just in this short time. LOL IDK maybe the shelter here?

I'll have to call them and see if its allowed.

Its a good idea, only thing is, like I said above, we've already converted about everybody we know that smokes. :D
