Been off analogs for a month now...

I've been lurkin around on this site for a while and I figured its about time to finally post something.
After some hassle with a couple other companies I decided to order the Joye510 from a company I read good things about. I've been using it for about 30 days now and I've tried to smoke an analog intermittently, but everytime it just tastes gross to me, and it doesnt even feel right. I've been converting everyone i know, my brother, my girlfriend, my friends, its great.

Fears, That's great news! A month is a long time for people like us!
You know I haven't even picked up a cigarette since I quit. I am too scared to even try!
That's good that you are getting others off analogs too..it's good to have company while you make this life change. Plus it gives you a larger pool of people to share new flavors with! (what I mean is bum a cart from)

Day 73 off of the analogs for me. I'm tempted to try one as most people here say they taste gross after being off for so long. I'm just afraid it is gonna taste good.

Welcome fears - you might want to fill in your location in your profile - just in case you need to bum a cart someday - we'll need to know if we're close.

It's wonderful to have that feeling of finally finding something that works, and it's appropriate to want to evangelize. Don't be surprised, however, if you get rebuffed by some people. vaping works best for those who want to quit or reduce, but we all have to reach that point by our own path.

I too smoked my last analog 4 weeks ago today. Pack and a half to two packs a day for about 29 years. Picked up my first pv and never looked back. Have an 801 and a 901 in hand. 901 is my heavy hitter and gets me through the rough spots with a great throat and vapor hit, and my 801 is for the evening mellow vaping. I have a 510 on order to boot. Gave my brother an 801 a couple of weeks ago and he is now working his way off the analogs. Life is good...

Congrats! I went a full week off analogs and I tried one, it just didn't feel the same. In fact I even lost that first analog of the morning feeling. I'm going on a month now, and this is it for me. I feel great!

Congrats to you too Junebug. I am staying far far away from analogs. I have two packs of unopened Marlboro's in my freezer. Just look at them and smile from time to time thinking about all the money I am not spending anymore or putting into the pockets of the greedy politicians.

Congrats. Over my 41 years of smoking I had resolved I would never find anything that would help me quit. Doesn't it feel great?

Grats! Every hour is another battle won! I smoked for 16 years and worked my way up to 3 packs a day on days I wasn't working. Bout a pack and a half on days I did. I'm now on 2 days, 22 hours and 31 minutes of no cigs!

I have half a pack in my purse but I think I'm ready to chunk them for good.

I'm also going to go throw away my ash tray....like now!

Congrats. I just bought my first pv. I picked up the Janty Stick. I love it! I checked the mail at home on Saturday at 7pm and it was there. Had a couple of analogs while it charged and at 10pm on Saturday I tried it. I haven't had a cigarette or wanted one since. I've told people who wanted me to quit that I really enjoyed smoking and until I didn't I would never quit. I enjoy vaping now and don't think I'll touch an analog again.
