Around 3 weeks ago I came home from work suffering from really bad shivers, migraine, fever and nausea which over a week later developed into a really bad cough which I still have. This is all due to some selfish so and so coming into work when he should have been signed off by the doctor and infecting half the office.

So these last 3 weeks I haven't vaped or even felt like vaping. Just wondering if this is the end of the road for vaping for me? I dare not try a toot as I know the throat hit would certainly tear my face apart and forget a lung hit - dear god I can just about get through shower steam right now let alone a vape.

Should I quit or should I start again as soon as I am well?

If you are not smoking and don't feel the need to vape; maybe call it a day...

OR, play it by ear and try some zero nicotine liquids should the cravings return.

If it was me, I'd take it as a golden opportunity to say goodbye to nicotine, if it can be done. :)

Sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. Keep your kit to hand....

Well the cough has gone and I just turned into a snot machine I can't smell a thing (which is handy for when our dog guffs lol).
But I fancied a vape and loaded up some strong menthol. Lo and behold it's worked better than any decongestant I've ever taken.

I've been vaping less prior to getting ill and I'm barely getting through half a mini pro tank these days. More recreational than habitual which is a good thing.

You see vapes are good!

My current favourite is the Chefs Vapour Mint Chocolate Vapetto - a nice cool chocolate with waffle wafer taste. Not at all sickly or overly sweet. If you like a pleasant strawberry taste, they do that in Vapetto too - again, it has the cool ice cream effect.
Another they do with that cool added if selected is Twisted: Lime, pineapple, strawberry and ice cream cool. It's cool and rather mouth watering.
I recently got the Honey Lemon Menthol. Very nice positive lemon and menthol but I was unsure about the honey at first. It grew on me though and I've ordered some more!

I'll be looking for another good chocolate one!

I'm limited with what I can try because I can't use anything with more than a very small amount of PG. Both LT and Chefs Vapour have been very helpful in making VG liquids for me if I request it at the time of order.

I've never found another menthol as good as the LT Ultra, and I sometimes mix a bit of their Natural Mint in with it for a change.

You've no doubt seen the CV Strawberry Vapetto? Strawberry ice cream with a waffle cone. I really like it but it's one of the ones that doesn't totally agree with me so I use it sparingly! Husband remarked that he could smell ice cream when I used some yesterday! (He didn't know what it was until I explained!)
I've just ordered a small bottle of LT's Crème D'Straw. They have another one that is silky strawberry but I haven't tried that one.
Someone else here (zeroclue) likes this one: http://greyhaze.co.uk/collections/azteca-eliquid/products/fat-cow-Azteca I don't think I could use it sadly because I think it'll have PG in it.

I've also ordered 10mls of LT's Sherbety Lemon, Choc Cream and Apricot Pie.

Nice that your taste buds are working better now! Small bonus! :)

Ooh I'll give that a try - I did see it!
Just nipped out in my lunch hour to grab a small bottle of menthol ice in my local vape store in Swansea. Not crazily strong but satisfying. It's made by vision e-liquid - not amazing but good enough for an emergency. It has a nice smell (I can smell doughnut for some reason) but I recommend menthol with low nic if you have a cold. Opens up the air ways!

Thanks for the tip though!

I'd ordered a few from LT last night and got a despatch email this morning!

Looks as though CV's site won't be operational until Monday.

I had a newsletter from Spiritus today. They have something new: Quacks Juice Factory! There's three variations, and one is a creamy menthol ...so I ordered some when I saw that they're max VG.

I haven't tried the Vision menthol, but have just emptied a 10ml bottle of CV's Honey Lemon Menthol. More on order and should have arrived today, so hopefully tomorrow!
I'd found the honey prominent at first but it seems to have receded and made the lemon and menthol stronger. I always smoked a mix of menthol or standard cigarettes, so do like to have a good menthol.

I like that 'cool' whatever it is that CV put in things like the Twisted.

I'm going to order the cv strawberry vape tto when the site is back up!

After 5 weeks of blinking flu virus my lower back went postal this weekend I've suffered from it for years and I think what has triggered it this time is the cough I had a few weeks ago. It was one of those horrible tickly ones which made me cough for ages to the point I felt sick but thankfully tiger balm and brufen has nullified it. Only kicks off when I'm in bed and lying down for a length of time.

Thanks I got ultra menthol from lt. I do like a good menthol vape from time to time. But it's mostly fruits with me. I'm going to branch out soon but I'm unsure what. I'm
not keen on coffee or custards so maybe a choc chip or something.

Heck! I'm so sorry - hadn't seen the new posts here ..I must subscribe to this thread!
Sorry to hear about your back. There's two in our family get back trouble and we've found a chiropractor usually does the most good the quickest. You certainly had a dose and a half of flu! :(

How much is the strawberry vapetto and what sizes does it come in? Think I'll go for a 50/50
It comes in 10 and 30mls and it's £4.50 and £11.50 I think. Not the cheapest, but it's worth it.

Chefs vapour is based in Cardiff too! Only 20 miles away!
Sounds even better! Do they have an actual shop? If they have and you go there, do say hello to them and thank them for making mine in VG only! :)
