I think the easiest way to tell a clone is the colour of the 'emetal' coating that's used on the deck and the chimney- look on the squape website or 'creme de vape' (UK site) to see what colour it should be- should be a very light grey.

All the clones I've come across have a much darker colour coating- a very dark grey- hope that helps!

One of the best high-end attys I own. Very easy to build on - use the wide deck with a 3mm ID coil wrapped to around 1 - 1.2 ohms and enjoy.

Make sure your 510 pin is very clean :)
was just saying that in another post mate, its VERY easy to build on, and I seem to have picked up an ease to build on the kayfun mini v3, I think how easy the squape is just gave me confidence I could build on pretty much ANYTHING

For clarification sake, my clones came in EhPro boxes. These were the ones without the engraving like Dave's.

Was that from the Kidney Puncher clearance? I got one from that for some crazy low price of ~$10. Then paid another $10 for a W base. Ended up with a very reasonable clone and good enough to make me believe the authentic would be well worth buying if it could be found. I only wish the clone had not reproduced the same jumping ohms issue the authentic is known for as well. You really need to tighten everything down and pay attention to the 510 pin.
