Been pretty much winging it so far, any tips would be awesome!

Well it all started around my birthday this year(July2nd). A friend gave me his old vape pen, little decent dude had a Kanger tank(battery that i can't recall now but nothing variable or whatnot, anyways i ramble, lol) that treated me well and i enjoyed vape and a huge plus for me is i was losing my desire for cigarettes. So since i knew i was gonna be sticking with this and knew there was more satisfying vape out there i sought it out and landed on mechmod. First one was a Meraxus with a Kayfun RTA, that mod was horrible, (at least the clone i got was)! After Going through at least two batteries and countless burned or electrocuted fingers i needed a change. My next was a SentinelM16 telescopic with another kayfun. Was getting closer to what i've been after in my vape experience so wanted to go bigger and an opportunity fell into my lap, it was a Panzer with RDA Plume Veil. I really had no interest in the tank style but for the price i wasnt gonna pass it up, the mod alone is more then i paid for the complete thing LoL!!!. So yeah, through all this I really haven't had much in the line of ppl showing my what im doing so its a miracle i haven't blown anything up yet. I have been logging my homework hours and have ordered ohm meter, proper coil tools including ceramic tip tweezers(only took me a couple blown coils to know i was buying those, and doing the research on starting to make my own juice. I i love to learn things and have dove straight into the deep end with this one and become quite a hobby so any tidbits or whatnot would be appreciated.

Oh yeah!!! I've been running RTA style and from what i can tell its the best vape for an active lifestyle like mine and it's ready to vape any time i grab it so no having to fool with drips or whatnot. If there is anything else out there let me know. And if you hadn't realized all i've ran is kayfun. If there is another brand thats advised id like something else to test drive.

Welcome aboard. I have a Kayfun Lite and it is my only RTA so I really can't advise in that area. But there will be plenty of others who have test driven a variety of RTAs. But here are a couple links if you don't already have them that might be helpful to you.

Well, my favorite RTA is the orchid V4. For just lounging around the erlkonigin is pretty cool. Single coil and holds a ton of juice

Ive got the calculators, learning and loving the math. As much as ive always avoided electricity and wiring over my life this *sigh* yet another sleepless nights has lead to a discovery of a project i'm undertaking.... im gonna build a box.... heheh, this is gonna be fun

So did those two batteries vent on you?

If there is another brand thats advised id like something else to test drive.

I have a couple of Fogger v4.4's and a Big Dripper that I really like. The Big Dripper is a RTDA.

They didn't vent thankfully, one of them them the neg pole is smushed in and now will only work in a mod running upside down, the other im not sure what exactly happened but the Meraxus was the only mod i had but there was a burn smell and the edge of the pos appears burned/discolored a bit. Im doing the hardcore checking on any type of hybrid tanks and making orders tonight while its cyber monday sales and its cheaper to test drive. I'll post on what i order and my thoughts on how they perform. If anything knows helpful tidbits on the box im gonna piece together at least a throw together unrestricted to demo before i get the good box ordered.

Oh trust iv'e been doing my reading on the subject, traded sleep for vape studies last night lol. Got schematics, parts list, tools, just gathering materials and get a test one or few made out and the messups worked out and learn before it hits the wallet.

The Orchid (as mentioned above) is a great rebuildable tank to move into.

Another option would be the Aris or the Lemo. All are very affordable, fairly easy to build on, great for flavor and versatile with multiple mods/APV's.

Ok so the Fogger V5 vs OrchidV4 they both have upsides so guess im gonna get both and the lady and I both get a new toy to tinker with. The Lemo is one iv'e seen and wanted to demo but gonna wait till i got a bit more play around with money. Checked the Aris out and it seems like a standard drip to me (no offence intended if being a bit noobish i missed some solid features. I like the clouds and all of a drip when im at the house relaxing and whatnot but i'm always go go go and just hate having to carry bottles of juice or fool with my device with any sort of prep to hit it.
