I would think on the hardware setup it would depend on your preference.
Do you like to keep things simple and straight forward or do you like to tinker with things until they can be absolutely no better.
Neither is better or worse. For me I like to fill up the tank, go all day (or 2) and refill. As little maintenance as possible.
If that's you, then tanks are good option. I recommend the Aspire nautilus.
If you would rather make a hobby of it, coil your own wire, make your own wicks. Then I have heard the Magma is a very good option for that.
It really comes down to what you prefer.
As far as flavors go, I really like EC Blend. They have great flavors and excellent service! plus you can get 5ml bottles of flavor to try out for like $2.50 ea

Either way you go I'm certain you will be happy you got off the analogs and on to a vaporizer!
Congrats and welcome to ECF!!!!!!

Welcome to ECF! I was a 40 some year smoker here. I certainly would NOT recommend a mech and RDA to begin with. An MVP2 and either a Mini Nautilus or an Aerotank would be much more suitable (and cheaper). No need to buy batteries or a charger. The MVP comes with a tank but they aren't very good in my opinion.

This would be my recommendation as well. a 30 ml bottle of juice can cost from 6.99 (for instance at Mt Baker) to almost 30 for some (Five Pawns). I smoked 2 PAD for more than 40 years. I use from 3 ml to 5 ml per day, so a bottle lasts me 6 to ten days.
