Well I think I "may" have solved my problem, I was using these aluminum drip tips and I went back to the plastic blank cart that came with my EGO .. smaller hole to inhale on but I remove my tip and drip directly on my atty anyway..... seems to have gotten rid of that "taste" could it have been the aluminum ???

Yep, aluminum can be very reactive. Get some delrin tips.

Hi Tab... glad to see that you figured out the issue. Having never used an aluminum drip tip that one would have gotten by me. =)

Still, there is some excellent advice in this thread should the problem recur. Specifically, Malyden's post covers nearly all the bases, as it always does. (it's always a good idea to take a look at the poster's avatar and info to see how long they have been around, btw. Malyden has been around a loooong time and was one of the people I followed way back when)

Women of Heart made a comment that shouldn't be missed either. That is, we all seem to experience times where nothing tastes right, no matter what you do, and it can last a few days. That's usually the time when I'll reach for a menthol or lemon e-liquid to sort of clean the palate.

The only thing I'll add to this is that it's important NOT to lock yourself into one flavor of e-liquid. I think I searched for my vaping *brand* for months until I realized it just *ain't* like smoking Marlboros. LOL

Mix it up and have some fun. Best of luck to you!

Thanks Ritchie :)

I don't even like the tobacco flavors I have ordered, but I picked them when I ordered my kit. Right now I have about 12 different flavors coming of which NONE are tobacco flavor LOL I sooooooooooo have ZERO interest in the tabacco flavor anymore which many members mentioned before I started vaping. Luckily I only bought 5ml of most stuff.

The only thing I have that is not tobacco right now for the past 2 days is Cappiccino.... so I have been vaping that like mad, which is why I was upset that it started to taste like metal. Hopefully my new stuff will be here the next couple of days.. :)

The other thing I was doing, that I think helped solve my issue too, was I don't think I was holding down my button for 2sec before I would inhale... giving the atty time to heat up the juice and release flavor.. I am purposely holding it down now a second longer and it tastes better...
