so got my 510 t and have watched the vids tutorials etc on basically rinsing my atty and then doing the dry burn. However when I hold down the button on my manual the atty doesnt glow orange at all so.. In a few days when it is time to clean these out how exactly do I go about it? I havent found any tutorials for cleaning the 510t attys thanks!

I haven't had mine long, but have had to clean a few atomizers. I do a quick(less than 5 minutes) soak in vodka, blow them out and let them set over night to dry more. That seems to work just fine for me.
You don't have to let them sit if you need one right away, just blow out as much as possible and prime it with some juice and you should be good to go.

I fill up a small finger bowl with denatured alcohol, and let my eGo-T atty sit for 15 minutes or so. Then, I hold it vertically, so the alcohol can flow through. I dip the atty and let the alcohol flow through a few more times until the flow is smooth and consistent.

Once that's done, I leave them out to dry for 24 - 48 hours, and treat the first few hits as though there's primer inside.

For reference, I have 4 LR's in rotation, and have only had one go bad since May.

I wandered into a post here somewhere that suggested denture tablets. Like, the fizzy tablets that you drop in water. I just drop mine in a bowl of that over night, boil them for a few minutes and blow the water out. they work like brand new for me after.

It sounded really kind of strange at first but some juices that I use really clog up and burn on the coil pretty bad, rendering them almost useless. I don't know what's in the tablets but they just loosen all that gunk right up and clean the wicks white again. If you rinse them well after you soak them, I have not detected any residue taste or smell left from the tablets. I don't let them dry out (unless I use alcohol) after I boil them, I just blow them out and go. It takes a few minutes to get the water out and the juice wicked up but overnight drying isn't really necessary.

How often do you folks clean them? The first few I've tried start off wonderful but lose vape power after just three days. By the fifth, there is so little vapor that they're useless. This is much sooner than with non-tank LR atomizers.

I don't think I'm an unusually heavy vaper. I go through about a ml. and and a half per day.

It all depends on the juice you use, I have some that can go all week without clogging up the atty and others that make it draw bad after 1 or two days.

I have no idea where I'm at
Rysup is right, just keep hitting the button until it glows. I find that if I blow on the coil while I am hitting the button, it glows faster. I have never blown an atty doing this and have been rotating 5 attys, two I have had for 11 months. I also have a pass-through that won't cut off automatically, so I can preform long burns on really stubborn gunk. Once it starts to glow a bit, I back off and do shorter bursts. Use vodka or ever-clear, it's not worth fooling with rubbing alcohol, since you don't want to chance vaping any, even dried residue. You don't even have to dry thoroughly with drinking type alcohol, just shake it out, blow dry and the dry burn will take care of the rest of the drying process.

BTW I am talking about an ego-t atty, but the principal should be the same.

Happy vaping

Saludos
