I was doing very well. Then last night, I was using my e-cig and it was exceptionally strong. It made me cough profusely and when I woke up this morning I had the urge to cough all day. When I use my e-cig, it burns my throat. Its not from a dry atty cause I even filled it until it began leaking out the side. I now have to start over but I cant because Im trying to figure out why my e-cig is suddenly burning my throat so badly.

What model of ecig are you using? :\

Don't be too discouraged, it happens to the best of us. Maybe try out a different flavor. How long were you going without a cigarette before you started again?

The best I can really think of, is you went so long without an analog, that your senses (smell, taste, etcetera) kicked back in, and perhaps the juice you were using was too strong for your taste?

PG is an irritant, its what gives e-liquid that throat hit we all were looking for in a replacement to analog cigarettes. Like others have mentioned you can try VG based e-liquid. It is thicker, and will produce more vapor than straight PG, but it is less irritating (and has less of a throat hit) than PG based e-liquid. Many vendors will make or sell VG based liquids, so check them out and try not to give into the analog beast! ;)

Agree with everyone else - I fell off the wagon too, but it was mainly because I wasn't sure how quickly I would go through my supply of carts, and didn't have a bottle of juice handy - everything went dry on the weekend, and I had to go back to analog till my shipment came in (Vapor King has GREAT shipping, BTW - ordered Monday morning, had the bottle in my hand Wednesday morning!). really sucked, but it was a good lesson for me, and a reminder from my boy-scout days... BE PREPARED! :)
Good luck to you though - hang in there, it will be worth the efforts!

I am using the Torpedo that I bought from Hotvapes.com. It has been working very well for me, but then again, I had bought some e-juice from this e-cig store near where I live and instead of me cutting it down to about 3 - 6 mg of nicotine, I was using it at its regular strength of 18mg. First it was smooth then it began to burn and had me coughing. It felt better to smoke a regular cigarette. I think you may be right.

Don't beat yourself up. I agree with Nathaniel. Perhaps your senses are back. If you're using a juice that is mostly (or all) PG, it can be irritating. You could try another juice or mix your juice with VG and see if that helps.

Thats what I was doing but this particular time I didnt cut it. I am using my ecig again now. I dont really have the urge to smoke the cigarettes. I smoked maybe 2 and cant finish them.

I have been vaping since late January I believe abd been doign a lot of DYI juices, in which, I have been making some great flavors and it has been coming out really well. But this time I went and bought juice from a Ecig store in my neighborhood and when I tried it out it was really smooth, but since I am used to 3-6mg the 18mg eventually began burning and I couldnt use the PV without coughing repetitiously. Thanks to all of you for the input.... yeah, Im still making noob mistakes. lol

I had the same problem with the cinnamon flavor. It actually hurt my lungs. I switched to vg with smoother flaver and that helped me out. It took 3 tries before I was able to kick analogs completely. You'll make it. Just learn from the mistakes and try try try again. Analogs are a terrible addiction and not at all easy to kick.

To be honest with you, cinnamon sounds like its supposed to hurt (you know what I mean). Something about smoking cinnamon in any aspect seems as if it would hurt. The particular flavor I was using was "fruit striped gum".

It's all a learning curve..I find my LR306 to be a much harder TH & can't rely on just that..I have LR510 attys I also direct drip with, and I use cartos, I mix them all up..usually have one of each on a battery, the 510 & cartos are much smoother than the 306's are for me...but sometimes I want that "pain" so I hit the 306.

But yeah..seriously on the water..chug a lug!
