Maybe I have a technical issue. I just cleaned everything, primed the heck out of a newly cottoned atomizer, put in the 50/50 ejuice and even tho the
atomizer is working (i hear it crackling and the draw is warm) I'm getting very minimal vapor no matter what wattage I set it at.
Even tried a pre-made atomizer (or whatever you call it) and same issue. Very little vapor and tastes like heck.
Hmmmm....

Which cool are you using (it sounds like your second shot at troubleshooting was a an OEM coil)? Is your airflow wide open?

Guys, I appreciate all the help.

Tech: I have a Kanger Subox Mini with variable wattage
It came with 2 pre-made coils - one is .5 ohms and the other is 1.2 ohms
It also came with a third one that you pack the cotton yourself, it reads .9 ohms

At present I have only 3 juices. One is 100% VG and the other two are a mixture of PG & VG
I preferred the taste of the 100% VG when all was working, but at this point I can't get a good
tasty vape from any of the 3 juices.

I am trying several wattages on each type of coil and juice.
I have ensured all the coils/cotton are primed well before using them.
What I'm getting is a raunchy, very little vapor draw, regardless of how much or how little airflow
or how high/low the wattage is set at. I consider it unusable at this time.

Initially it vaped well and I used it a lot, even tho i still preferred a reg cigarette, so I'm giving
it a good effort to adapt. What I'm tasting is a very dry choking minimal vapor rather than a full
bodied high-vapor.

Frenchfry: Yes I am a heavy tobacco user trying to switch over to vaping.

I'm going to stop at the vape store today and see if they know what the hell is wrong with this thing.

Thanks again guys, your advice is appreciated.

I believe that the 100% VG is your problem and even the mixture juices might have a high VG ratio. VG is very thick, PG is thin almost like water. Even a 70/30 juice might be too thick to wick properly in that Subtank. Not sure at what wattage you are using on your mod/battery, but you also might consider dialing that down a bit. Too high power + thick juice = Dry hits. Very bad equation.
