Beginner vaper, E-liquid tastes bad and nothing like the flavor

Yes I do.

Mt. Baker are quite famous, even over here. They sell decent liquids for a fair price.
They don't engage in the bad practises I've mentioned.

Halo are different. Halo are a long-standing company selling decent stuff. The liquids are generally excellent. The hardware side of the business is less good... and I would not recommend them, no. Sadly, they sell rebranded products like V***** do and for a long time, they were overcharging for some basic/outdated hardware.

Alright is there somewhere I should look for good eliquids

Have you tried to smell and taste the juice? if it smells chemically/alcohol it may need to breath for a while. if it taste like medicine it may need to steep.

Do you have a better e-liquid brand recommendation I'm up for anything. Also along the lines of what you are saying I would like to know why they have such great reviews and they are known for being great!

The best, can't miss, everybody loves it flavor is the one you TRY FOR YOURSELF at a BRICK AND MORTAR store. Don't settle for a sniff either, try it. See my thread on reasons newbies need real vape shop visits. The equipment you're using to test with isn't always the best, but it's a good idea of what you're working with. This site has a "Find a Shop" tab at the top of the page, and then there's google. If it's 3 hours away, well, we call that VAPE DAY! Bring a sht ton of cash for your first vape day because you're going to fall in love over and over!!!!

On your first vape day be sure to get a variety of flavor TYPES. I fell in love with "dessert flavors" at first and got anything that sounded like a dieter's nightmare.. and I got bored. Get dessert types, mint types (have a spare tank for these, trust me here), fruit flavors, sodas, candy, other. I have NEVER bought a tabacco flavor though.. i don't want to even be remindd of a cigarette.

If you're overwhelmed ask the staff what flavors people buy over and over and over, what they can't keep in stock, and what they vape all day themselves. That'll get you started. As if they have any seasonal flavors or any store-made flavors they are particularly proud of.. Ask what they would buy as a gift for someone if they didn't know their vape-flavor preferences. By now you have a list of 10-15 things to try, so sit back and have fun.


That said, I really enjoy #32 by Beard, have been happy with all my purchases of flavors by The Originals (which are quite complex, no single taste but full profile)and I've liked the couple of flavors I've tried by Cosmic Fog. My favorite online vendor is GiantVape.com because of an amazing selection and free shipping regardless of order size; they also have excellent and personsonal customer service (but it's STILL no vape shop). I also buy from Slim's Ejuice a lot; their flavors are, well they're ok, nothing superior but you can customize your juice extensively by pg/vg level, nicotine level (beyond your usual choices) and the REAL reason I go to them is because you can order low, med, or high CAFFEINE be added and that's just decadent regardless of the good-enough-but-not-the-best-ever flavors.
