Thanks, all. I was inspired by soba1 who posted a thread after he walked into one of his local B&M and lo and behold, there was a polished mini. So I went to Provape to see if there were any authorized B&M re-sellers near me. There's one - Cigtechs - although they aren't exactly "local" as they are about a 40 minute drive away. I called the store yesterday and spoke to Joe. I asked if by any chance he had a polished mini. Of course he said "no". I thanked him and resigned myself to stalking the Provape website.
Half an hour later my cell phone rings. I answer and it is Joe from Cigtechs. He called me back to tell me that he had just arrived at there new, second location, and lo and behold! They had a polished mini! Cigtechs' new second location is even farther away from me, but then Joe said that he would take it with him back to the original shop and I could come pick it up from there. And I then asked him how he had my number to call me back, as I didn't remember leaving it with him when I originally called. Joe said that when he got to the new shop and saw the polished mini, he called back to the original shop and had the clerk look at the caller ID. I LOVE this guy! So that's where I went today.

Vape City in Skokie also has them, but not in polished. Bad place to go if you like other shiny stuff, though.
Damn these are an addiction. I picked up a polished SS mini last go round, got a black/blue mini from the classies, have a bronze/green in the cart;when does it stop??

Yeah, I know. I don't have one with a blue LED. I can't stop thinking about a third mini with a blue LED. The black/blue sounds nice.

I haven't been to Vape City yet - next time I go shopping at Old Orchard I will stop by to take a look around.

Store owner told me he "picked up a couple" to have in the store. Was a black and a Zombie standard size.
ETA: It's a cool store. Much like a would expect from a shop that close to the city. Was difficult to resist all the shiny stuff.....
