These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, EVE, Lishen, BAK, or Sanyo can change at any time! This can be one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.
Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.
Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.
If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.

Test Results
A great performing 18350 for lower power, its 5A rating seems reasonable and it’s your best choice for up to about 4A/12W. When getting up to about 4A-5A (12W-15W) or so the Vapcell V2.0 M11 is your better choice though, up to about 10A/30W.

- An extra bead of black liquid/paste sealant of some type was applied to the top, seemingly to back up the white plastic sealing ring for the rolled over top crimp for the cell. This is not normally done and I do not know if there are any kind of electrolyte leaking issues with this cell. I had no problems or leakage with the two cells I tested.
- At 3A/9W the H16 is about the same as the Vapcell F16 (3A 1600mAh) but the H16 starts running for a little longer if you go below about 3.3V. The difference might not be noticeable unless down near 2.8V though.
- DC IR measured 72.3mOhms and 78.5mOhms for two cells. This is not good consistency but is typical for the ultra-high capacity capacity 18350’s (the Vapcell F16 was about 95mOhms).
- Capacities for the two cells were 1573mAh and 1621mAh. This is also not good consistency but is typical for 18350’s. The values are close enough to 1600mAh that I’ll be rating this cell at 1600mAh.
