These tests below only note the ESTIMATED ratings for these batteries at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of personal injury or property damage. They are not meant to be used outside of a physically and electrically protected battery pack. Never exceed the battery’s current rating and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Use of any of these batteries is AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never, ever, be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.

    Test Results
The ratings for this cell are exaggerated a bit, typical for Vapcell, but it performed very well. It beat both the Murata VTC6 and Samsung 30Q by a little and even performed about the same as the Murata VTC5A/VTC5D and Molicel P26A. This Vapcell ran at a slightly higher temperature though than the VTC’s and Molicel.

THIS CELL WILL NOT RUN FOR LONGER THAN THE VTC’S AND MOLICEL P26A! This Vapcell’s 2900mAh capacity will only help it run for longer when you are below about 5A-7A, about 15W-20W.

The Vapcell S30 gets too hot at 25A to be rated that high, about 89°C when discharged down to 2.5V and 84°C when discharged down to 2.8V. I am rating it at 20A.

The capacity of the two cells I tested was 2972mAh and 2990mAh, failing to meet Vapcell’s 3000mAh rating. Since the cells I have cannot be the lowest capacity ones in the batch I am rating this cell at 2900mAh.

Two cells were donated for the purposes of testing by Liion Wholesale (Liion Wholesale Batteries | Li-ion battery/cell distributor). Thank you!

Hmm. I may try this battery someday if I can get a decent price on it when I'm shopping around. That 15-20W range is my normal vaping rage.
