Howdy guys,
I have been using my Kanger T3's on my big battery mods using an eGo adapter I got from RTD Vapors.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT BASHING RTD VAPOR, THEY ARE FANTASTIC!
The 510 adapter they sell has a fixed length center post, and the Kanger center post tends to push the center post on the 510 side of the adapter too far out, where the positive contact actually extends past the threading. This prevents you from being able to tighten the adapter or the T3 down enough for it to not be a bit wobbly. I don't crank down any of my attachments, but I do like a firm finger tight, enough for it to be secure in the threads. I can't do that with this adapter.
I could bust out the dremel and grind away at the thing, but for most applications it works fine as is.
What I would like to find out is, who is selling 510 to eGo adapters with an adjustable center post? I hear they are out there, you just can't tell from pictures. Either adjustable, or a spring loaded cotact on the eGo side of the adapter.
Thanks!
