I use this one and purchased it cus it was the cheapest I found at the time. From Madvapes.

This is the passthrough
Smok Tech 5 Volt 510 Manual USB Passthrough

This is the USB power adapter you need to make it work. This plugs right into your AC wall socket, not your PC and does not charge a battery.

You CAN plug the passthrough itself into your PC IF your PC USB is rated for 5 volts otherwise use this adapter.

2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs

can you fit a tank on those? or do you recommend a duel cartomizer? or something else.

You really don't want to plug one of these into a computer. It is much cheaper to buy a pv than a computer.

If you want to go 5v it would be best to get a mod that can do that, not a pt.

IDK about tanks, but I would not try any dual coils, especially if you are connecting it to the computer anyway. Dual coils seem to need a bit more power than regular cartos/atty.

On a true 5V pass-through, I strongly recommend NOT connecting through a USB port on a PC, use a separate 2A rated power supply; way too much potential for damage to the PC, and even if it "works", the odds are that it is over-drawing on the PC USB port, it's likely a voltage sag. The Madvapes 2A supply is fine, as is the IQ 2amp dual USB power supply, available from Walmart online.

No problem using a tank, you just need to have the atty or cartomizer rated as 2.5 or greater ohms, so the current draw stays under the 2 amps. I tend to like about 8 watts power, a 3 ohm cartomizer, though some particular eliquids can be nice at 10W, a 2.5 ohm carto/atty.
